| In May of 2006, Adoption Ark launched our 4th annual Summer Program for our orphans in Russia. What initially began with 120 reluctant, lonely children ended with unforgettable memories that could last a lifetime. We offered these abandoned children 20 days of a life they have rarely experienced before, perhaps a life all too many Americans take for granted. 20 days of intimate friendship and attention from mentors and teachers, 20 days of stimulating activities to sparktheir interests and passion, and 20 days of creating genuine friendships with one another. 20 days later, every child left with smiles stretched from ear to ear. Volunteers at Adoption Ark left knowing we had made a difference. |

This is why Adoption Ark, in collaboration with Friends Around the World (Non-profit Organization based in Russia), would like to make this Summer Program possible for 120 more orphans the summer of this year 2007. With your generous donation of only $250, one orphaned child, between 5-12 years old, will have an action-packed experience rich with care, love, and attention unique to anything he or she has experienced. Specifically, this donation provides 5 meals a day full of all organic and nutritious food, room & board, and transportation from the orphanage to the campsite. The camp itself is a safe haven of natural forestry and plants away from the city life and plenty of grassy plains for the children to play sports, games, and other exciting outdoor activities. Also, we can hear the rushing waters of a nearby river in which many of the children have the opportunity to wade and swim in. To pique children’s curiosity and thirst for learning, our program offers six sessions of art therapy in which we encourage the practice of patience and peace of mind through specially designed art projects. Our evenings also include nights of singing, storytelling, huddling around a bonfire, and other bonding experiences that have left lasting imprints on each of their hearts.
